The Ultimate Connecticut Road Trip

It’s the Monday after Spring Break and your various social media accounts are finally done being flooded with pictures of your friends in tropical places. If you’re one of the many college students who were unable to escape the cold of Connecticut this past week, I’m here to offer you some helpful information to take your mind off of the remaining weeks of unpredictable New England weather.

 

At this point in the academic year, the drive to and from campus is second nature to you. As the weeks left to complete in the semester are quickly coming and going, now is the perfect time to put your commuter expertise towards something fun and plan to embark on the Ultimate Connecticut Road Trip. Although the Storrs campus is beautiful, here are a few of the best beaches and lakes in Connecticut to visit when you’re commute-free after finals.

Once you decide to embark on a road trip, you need to make sure that your car is equipped with the supplies necessary for any given situation. The first FIVE people to come into our office after reading this article will receive a FREE CAR KIT! The car kit includes jumper cables, a first aid kit, batteries, a flashlight, ponchos, and much more. Off-Campus Student Services’ Office is located in Student Union Room 315 and is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. Hope to see you soon and hear about your upcoming road trip plans!
